About Joy R. Brown Enterprises, LLC

Joy R. Brown was born and raised in eastern North Carolina. A creative in her own right, Joy uses writing and speaking as catalysts to provide vehicles for encouragement and inspiration to many.  An avid learner, Joy pursued a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in Philosophy from Barton College, Bachelor of Social Work from East Carolina University and a Masters in Human Resource Management from Walden University.  

Through many challenges faced in life, Joy chose to journal which led to "Sow A Seed" and "The Challenges of Being Gifted and Anointed." As an author, Joy believes words are powerful and possess the ability to shift the trajectory of a person's life.  Using her God-given voice, Joy has an extensive career in radio and television.  Upon graduating, her journey began at WGTM 590am in Wilson, NC and continued with WTOW, WOOW, WELS and currently WBIS-LP.  

Joy enjoys conversing with people from different backgrounds, whether on radio, television or Facebook, she energizes the airwaves with the golden voice and joyful sound.

 
The arts have always been a passion of Joy. She has written and produced several plays from The Cry of a Delirious Black Preacher to But Momma, I’m Grown. 
Ministry is the joy of her life; and she remains active in her local church. 
As she continues to explore and venture through new doors, Joy bases her confidence in God’s word according to Philippians 1:6.

Currently, residing in North Carolina, Joy continues to enjoy traveling, live plays and concerts along with reading, writing and journaling.  In the midst of the many obstacles she overcame, Ephesians 3:20 has remained constant in her life.
